Coast Guard seizes two tons of “Shabu” in the Arabian Sea

The Yemeni Coast Guard Authority seized a ship on Wednesday carrying 2,056 kilograms of drugs in the northern Arabian Sea.
The Coast Guard stated that the seizure operation was carried out after monitoring and tracking the ship in cooperation with the Pakistani naval forces operating within the Combined Task Force 150, led by the Royal Saudi Navy.
It was clarified that the seized drugs were methamphetamine (Shabu). The Coast Guard also indicated that the ship’s crew, consisting of Iranian and Pakistani nationals, has been detained to complete legal procedures and refer them to the relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, a security campaign in Ras Al-Arah, Lahj, seized one million narcotic pills yesterday that were on board a truck.
Recently, the Coast Guard and security agencies in several provinces have managed to seize large quantities of drugs and smuggled materials.
