Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The Turkish city of Istanbul witnessed the launch of the (YPx) platform, a Yemeni youth forum concerned with empowering youth and highlighting their success stories. This took place during the sixth gathering of the “Pioneers of Yemen” program, organized by the Oweis Al-Qarni Endowment, with the participation of an elite group of Yemeni youth in the fields of thought, entrepreneurship, and voluntary work.
The platform aims to enhance the presence of youth in development and innovation, and to provide a space for communication and exchange of expertise, thereby contributing to shaping a promising future for Yemen and restoring its civilizational role after years of conflict.
The “Yemen My Mother” initiative was also launched during the ceremony. This initiative allows every Yemeni, both inside and outside the country, to contribute to a charitable endowment that serves the motherland, embodying the dutifulness of sons and daughters to their country through sustainable development projects.
In his speech on the occasion, the Minister of Endowments and Guidance in the Yemeni Government, Mohammed Bin Aidha Shabibah, affirmed that throughout history, Yemenis have been pioneers of endowments and community initiatives, praising the efforts of the Oweis Al-Qarni Endowment in empowering youth and activating their potential to serve the community.
The launch of the platform and the initiatives coincided with the celebrations of Yemenis for the anniversaries of the September 26th and October 14th revolutions, in a message that confirms the revival of the spirit of initiative and giving for a nation looking forward to a better future.
