Governor of Taiz Emphasizes Security Vigilance and Pursuit of Wanted Fugitives

Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan praised the achievements of the governorate’s police in combating crime and tracking down wanted individuals and fugitives from justice, affirming their responsiveness to various security developments.
During his visit today to the police headquarters, the governor stressed the need to strengthen security vigilance, continue the work of the security committee, and show no leniency toward lawbreakers. He also reaffirmed the local authority’s support for all police units, enabling them to carry out their duties with professionalism and transparency.
The governor listened to a briefing from the Director General of Police, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhali, on the key tasks carried out by the security campaign under his leadership, and the successes achieved in apprehending wanted individuals. He also reviewed the limited resources of the police force and the urgent needs required to enhance security performance.
Governor Shamsan also visited the wounded members of the security campaign to check on their health condition, in addition to inspecting the police department’s clinic and the medical services it provides to its personnel.
