Taiz Police: 31 Wanted Suspects Arrested Over the Assassination of Al-Mashhari and Other Murder Cases

The leadership of the joint security campaign in Taiz governorate announced the arrest of 31 wanted suspects in connection with the assassination of the director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Ms. Iftihan Al-Mashhari, as well as other murder cases—marking a major security achievement over the past six days.
Deputy Police Chief of the governorate, Brigadier General Anis Al-Shamairi, revealed that the campaign successfully raided several locations where the wanted suspects were hiding and managed to apprehend them. He confirmed that the operations were carried out within the framework of the law and with full firmness against any resistance.
The campaign leadership stressed its determination to continue pursuing all wanted individuals in Taiz city and its districts, working to enhance security and stability and to protect civilians. It called on citizens to cooperate with security forces and report any armed manifestations outside the law.
At the end of the press conference, Al-Shamairi praised the support of the local community and the media in raising security awareness and ensuring facts are relayed from official sources. He reaffirmed the campaign’s commitment to continuing operations to uphold the rule of law in the governorate.
