The Israeli military announced on Tuesday that it intercepted a drone it claims was launched from Yemen, over the Eilat area in the south.
In a post on X, the military stated: “Air Force forces intercepted a drone launched from Yemen.”
It added that “no alerts were issued in accordance with policy.”
Israel Army Radio reported that the interception took place in the skies over the Eilat region.
There was no immediate comment from the Houthis in Yemen. However, the group has repeatedly affirmed its continued attacks on Israel until it ends what they describe as the “genocidal war” it is waging against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
