The city of Zinjibar, the capital of Abyan Governorate in southern Yemen, witnessed a large number of women taking to the streets in a protest.
Local sources stated that the female protesters demanded the improvement of basic services and the provision of daily life necessities.
These demonstrations come amidst escalating women’s protests in the city of Aden, against the backdrop of ongoing economic and social challenges facing the liberated governorates of Yemen.
