Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

The Ministry of Health in Sana’a announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll from the Israeli airstrikes on Al Hudaidah Governorate has risen to 5 killed and 57 injured, in a preliminary count.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Anis al-Asbahi, stated that the airstrikes targeted civilian facilities, including oil storage tanks in Ras Isa port and Al-Hali power plant, resulting in civilian casualties, including workers and engineers.

Al-Asbahi pointed out that some of the injuries are critical, and that ambulance and rescue teams are still searching for missing persons under the rubble.

The Israeli occupation army launched airstrikes on Al Hudaidah Governorate on Sunday evening in response to a missile attack carried out by the Houthis on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
