Heavy rains that fell on Al-Mahwit governorate on Wednesday caused significant damage in the village of Al-Abrat.
Local residents reported the collapse of two old houses in Al-Abrat village, located in Al- Sharqi sub-district of Milhan District.
The rains also led to the death of several livestock.
Residents noted that some animals were rescued, while the remains of others were retrieved from beneath the rubble of the collapsed homes.
No human casualties were reported, while locals continue efforts to assess the damage and provide support to affected families.
