Royal Jordanian Preparing to Resume Flights to Sana’a

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

Royal Jordanian Airlines has announced that it is completing the necessary technical and logistical preparations ahead of resuming flights to the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.

According to Jordan’s state television, the airline is currently finalizing arrangements to restart air service between Jordan and Sana’a, although no official date has yet been announced for the resumption of flights.

So far, no official statement has been issued by the Yemeni government, the Saudi-led coalition, or the Houthis regarding the details of any final agreement or a specific timetable for the resumption of flights between Sana’a and Amman.

The announcement comes after the Houthis launched missiles at Saudi Arabia and accused the Kingdom of bombing Sana’a International Airport on Monday, an incident that reportedly ended a four-year truce in the conflict between the two sides.
