Interior Ministry Undersecretary to “Yemen Monitor”: Liberating Sana’a is the Strongest Response to Iranian Aggression

Yemen Monitor / Marib / Newsroom:

The First Undersecretary of the Yemeni Ministry of Interior, Major General Mohammed Salem bin Aboud, emphasized that the liberation of Sana’a is the strongest strategic response to Iranian aggression targeting brothers in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, aimed at securing the region from the Houthi threat that seeks to undermine regional stability.

In an exclusive statement to Yemen Monitor, he said that the “sinful attacks targeting brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, carried out under blatant Iranian planning and supervision, will only increase the cohesion and determination of Yemenis to eradicate the Persian project in the region.”

The Yemeni government official added: “We call upon the legitimate leadership and our brothers in the Arab Coalition, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to accelerate the military move to liberate the hijacked capital, Sana’a.”

He stressed that liberating Sana’a from the Houthis is the only practical response the Tehran regime will understand, considering that “severing the Houthi arm” means drying up the sources of threat and securing the Arab region from Iranian expansion.

Regarding the marches witnessed across Yemeni provinces condemning the attacks on Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, and Jordan, he noted that they proved the depth of brotherly ties. He stated that the Yemeni people consider the security of Saudi Arabia an integral part of their own, and that targeting the Land of the Two Holy Mosques is an attack on every free Yemeni.

The Ministry of Interior Undersecretary stressed the necessity of moving from the stage of condemnation to the stage of comprehensive military decisiveness, condemning in the strongest terms what he called “organized Iranian terrorism” against Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations.

He reaffirmed absolute support for all security and military measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its territory, stating: “We and our brothers in the Kingdom are in the same trench; our destiny is one. Targeting vital Saudi facilities is political and military suicide for Iran and its tools.” He added, “The Yemeni and Saudi peoples will work firmly to sever these arms and isolate them internationally until Yemen recovers and the region stabilizes.”
