Yemeni President Directs the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission to Support State Institutions

Today, Tuesday, the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, discussed with the leadership of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission the latest developments in the national situation and efforts to enhance national consensus in support of state institutions confronting the Houthi group’s escalation.
During the meeting, Al-Alimi reviewed political, security, and military developments, emphasizing that the state will not allow the continuation of extortion tactics or the hijacking of decisions regarding war and peace. The meeting served as an affirmation of the leadership’s commitment to a comprehensive peace path based on restoring state institutions and ending any armed presence outside their official framework.
He stressed the role played by the Consultation Commission and official institutions in consolidating national consensus and unifying ranks to prevent the country from being dragged into futile battles that harm regional security, alongside unifying military and security command and raising the efficiency of the armed forces.
He affirmed the government’s continuation of economic and administrative reforms, the enhancement of transparency, and the activation of oversight bodies with support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and international partners, ensuring institutional stability and boosting prospects for a comprehensive recovery.
