Second Military Region Command Warns Of Flood Risks In Hadramawt

Yemen Monitor /Newsroom:
The Command of the Second Military Region has issued an urgent warning to citizens and residents in several districts of Hadramawt Governorate, due to ongoing weather conditions bringing heavy to very heavy rainfall.
The command explained that these rains could lead to flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and on public roads, posing a threat to lives and property.
It called on everyone to strictly follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities, and to avoid approaching flood channels or attempting to cross water-covered roads under any circumstances, in order to maintain public safety.
The command also stressed the importance of not parking vehicles in flood paths or low-lying areas, as this poses direct danger and may obstruct water flow. It warned that violators could face legal accountability.
The Second Military Region Command affirmed its full readiness to deal with various emergency situations, urging citizens to act responsibly and cooperate with authorities to reduce risks and enhance public safety.
