Ministry of Industry and Trade Announces 37 Applicants Passed the Certified Public Accountant Exam

The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced today that 37 accountants out of 118 applicants have been licensed to practice the profession of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Batch of October 14, 2025).
Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, confirmed while chairing the Accountants Licensing Committee meeting, that the announcement of the CPA exam results comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of national cadres and professionally qualify them, which contributes to establishing principles of transparency and financial discipline and improving the business environment.
Minister Al-Ashwal pointed out that the Ministry gives great importance to developing the accounting and auditing profession due to its role as a fundamental pillar in ensuring good governance and protecting public and private funds. He noted that the Accountants Licensing Committee was keen to apply the highest professional and academic standards in the testing and evaluation processes.
To obtain a license as a Certified Public Accountant in Yemen, one must meet requirements including qualifications, experience, and age, and then pass an exam determined by the Certified Public Accountants Licensing Committee at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
