The draw for the Gulf Cup for U-23 National Teams, which will be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, from December 4 to 16, placed the Yemeni Olympic National Team in Group B alongside the teams from Iraq, the UAE, and Oman.
The draw ceremony took place via video conference technology (online), where the participating teams were distributed into four pots based on the technical classification of each team.
The team classification was as follows:
- Pot 1: Qatar, Iraq
- Pot 2: Saudi Arabia, UAE
- Pot 3: Bahrain, Oman
- Pot 4: Kuwait, Yemen
According to the draw results, Group A included the teams: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, while Group B was composed of the following teams: Yemen, Iraq, UAE, Oman.
