Fisherman Survives Drowning After Waves Capsize His Boat Off the Coast of Radhum, Shabwa

A fisherman was rescued by a maritime rescue team in the Radhum district of Yemen’s Shabwa governorate after his small boat capsized on Saturday evening due to rough seas and high waves.

According to local sources, the fisherman had a dramatic struggle with the waves while the rescue teams began their search and recovery efforts in the early hours of the night.

The teams managed to reach him at 5 a.m., safely pulling him to shore and saving his life from a potential disaster.

Local residents expressed their admiration for the rescue team’s quick response and professionalism, praising their intervention, which prevented a certain loss of life.

At the same time, locals called for strengthening the capabilities available to these teams to ensure a faster response to future maritime emergencies.
