Explosions Rock Sana’a Following New U.S. Airstrikes

U.S. fighter jets launched a series of airstrikes on Saturday evening targeting areas in Sana’a under the control of the Houthi group, according to Houthi-affiliated media outlets.

The reports stated that US aircraft targeted several locations, including Al-Nahda neighborhood in Al-Thawra District, the Nuqum mountain range, and Al-Safia District.

Additionally, the strikes included three air raids on Bani Hushish District, as well as attacks on the Darwan area in Hamdan District, and another strike on Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah District.

U.S. jets also reportedly carried out four airstrikes south of the Al-Hafa area in Al-Sabain District, along with five strikes on September 21 Park (formerly the First Armored Division headquarters) in Al-Thawra District.

According to the reports, three people were killed and several others wounded in the strikes on Bani Matar District and Al-Nahda neighborhood.

Earlier, Houthi media reported that U.S. forces carried out approximately 13 airstrikes on the port and airport of Al-Hudaidah in western Yemen.

These latest attacks follow U.S. airstrikes on Ras Issa port in the same governorate on Thursday night, which reportedly killed 80 people and injured 150 others, including port workers, staff, and first responders, according to preliminary figures released by Houthi authorities.
