Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
Residents and local sources reported that violent explosions rocked the Houthi-controlled city of Hudaidah in western Yemen this evening, following airstrikes that targeted sites within the city.
The sources added that at least three airstrikes targeted locations in Hudaidah, while other sources reported that the strikes may have hit the vicinity of the Port of Hudaidah, without official confirmation regarding the nature of the targets or the entity that carried out the attack.
The airstrikes came shortly after the announcement that the Saudi vessel NCC MASA was targeted while sailing in the Red Sea.
An official source at the Saudi Transport Authority stated that the ship was subjected to an attack resulting in minor damage to its hull, but it continued its voyage to its intended destination after ensuring its safety and the safety of its crew members.
