Al-Zindani Discusses Enhancing Cooperation and Supporting Vital Sectors with Dutch Ambassador in Aden

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Yemen, Shae’a Al-Zindani, received on Thursday in the temporary capital Aden the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen, Jeannette Seppen. The meeting addressed developments in the local and regional situation, as well as files of mutual cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance Dutch support provided to Yemen, particularly in development and service sectors, capacity-building programs, and women’s empowerment. They emphasized the importance of directing interventions toward the most needy sectors to have a direct impact on citizens’ lives.
Al-Zindani affirmed the depth of relations between Yemen and the Netherlands, praising the Dutch role in supporting humanitarian and development projects. He stressed the need for continued coordination with the government to ensure improved program efficiency and more effective results.
For her part, the Dutch ambassador confirmed her country’s continued support for the Yemeni government and ongoing cooperation in economic and service aspects, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of existing interventions.
