Arrest of One of the Most Dangerous Drug Dealers in Hadramawt

Security authorities in Hadramawt Governorate (eastern Yemen) announced on Tuesday the arrest of one of the most dangerous drug dealers caught in the act on a street in Al-Mukalla.
The Hadramawt Coast Police stated that the Anti-Narcotics Unit successfully arrested a major dealer of crystal meth (shabu), narcotic pills, and hashish in what was described as a specialized security operation, following careful surveillance and monitoring of his movements.
Police revealed that the suspect was arrested red-handed on the street while armed and in possession of three pistols, along with quantities of narcotic pills and hashish.
Authorities also raided his home, where they found quantities of crystal meth, hashish, and various types of narcotic pills and drugs, in addition to tools used for drug consumption and distribution.
Hadramawt Coast Police added that 12 mobile phones were seized, believed to have been held as collateral in drug-related dealings. Security forces also confiscated hand grenades, electric detonators, ammunition, and weapons, reflecting the seriousness and danger of his criminal activities.
