The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the Republic of Yemen stands by Kuwait against anything that undermines its security and sovereignty, affirming its condemnation of the Iranian attacks that targeted Kuwaiti territory and several Gulf states.
The statement added that these attacks represent a “flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter,” and constitute an escalation that threatens international peace and security, as well as the security of waterways in the region.
The Ministry called for a collective international stance to deter what it described as aggressions and to prevent their recurrence, emphasizing that the security of Kuwait and the Gulf states is directly linked to the security and stability of Yemen amid rising regional tensions.
