Yemeni Military Commander: Our Battle Against the Houthis is Fateful and Demands the Highest Vigilance

The Commander of the Sixth Military Region of the Yemeni Army, Major General Haikal Hantaf, confirmed that the armed forces are currently fighting a “fateful battle” against the Houthi group, which necessitates the cohesion of leadership and soldiers and a unified front.
He pointed out that true strength lies not only in equipment but in solid will and high discipline, stressing that military discipline and faith in the justice of the cause are the two fundamental pillars for achieving victory.
These remarks were made during a speech delivered by Major General Hantaf at a Ramadan evening organized by the regional command for the commanders and officers of several brigades, aimed at enhancing the readiness and morale of the region’s personnel.
Major General Hantaf praised the efficiency of the commanders in managing the battle on the ground, explaining that the current stage does not allow for complacency and requires the “highest levels of vigilance.”
For his part, the Assistant Director of the Moral Guidance Department at the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Ahmed al-Ashwal, emphasized the importance of the spiritual aspect in raising the fighting spirit and instilling national principles in the hearts of the personnel.
