Yemeni Defense Minister Emphasizes the Importance of “E-Governance” in Strengthening Institutional Work

The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Tahir Al-Aqili, stressed the need to review the performance of the past period, conduct a comprehensive evaluation of achievements and challenges, address shortcomings and imbalances, and activate oversight mechanisms.
During a meeting held today in Aden, attended by the minister’s assistants and heads of authorities within the Ministry of Defense, he emphasized the importance of coordination and integration among the various bodies to ensure harmony in carrying out national duties and to enhance institutional efficiency.
Lt. Gen. Al-Aqili also affirmed moving forward with the implementation of e-governance and the development of administrative systems, which would contribute to strengthening organizational work, while expressing appreciation for the fraternal support of the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
The meeting reviewed summary reports submitted by the heads of authorities and their deputies on workflow progress, the level of implementation of plans and tasks, and the difficulties facing performance.
