From Riyadh: Presidential Council Member Al-Khanbashi Addresses Hadrami Investors: Hadramawt is Most Deserving of Your Investments

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt, Salem Al-Khanbashi, issued an open invitation to businessmen and investors to enter the investment market in Hadramawt Governorate. He emphasized that the province has become one of the most secure, stable, and prepared Yemeni environments to host investment projects.

Al-Khanbashi’s call came during his participation in the Sahala Annual Investment Forum held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. the event saw broad participation from Yemeni, Saudi, and foreign investors, alongside economic and commercial figures, government officials, and diplomats.

In his speech, Al-Khanbashi expressed pride in participating in this economic event, stating that the forum reflects the strength of the historical and brotherly relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia. He stressed that the partnership between the two countries transcends figures, as it is based on human ties and a shared destiny.

The Presidential Council member highlighted the historical role of Hadramawt ‘s people in establishing trade networks and building bridges with the world while spreading the values of work and integrity. He noted that this legacy remains present today through the influential Hadrami presence in the diaspora, which forms an economic and human extension of Hadramawt.

Al-Khanbashi urged businessmen, particularly those of Hadrami origin, to direct their investments toward their home province. He pointed out that the awareness of the local community and the solidarity of its leadership have made Hadramawt a model for stability under the current circumstances.

He explained that the governorate is rich with significant investment opportunities in vital sectors—most notably energy, real estate, agriculture, mining, and tourism—affirming that the local authority leadership is ready to provide the necessary facilities and create a suitable climate to ensure the success of investment projects.

Al-Khanbashi confirmed that the local authority would stand by investors as a supportive partner by simplifying procedures and overcoming administrative and legal challenges, contributing to the creation of new success stories added to Hadramawt ’s long-standing commercial and cultural record.

The forum featured several specialized working papers and discussions on various investment themes, with the participation of experts and specialists in real estate investment and the development of vital economic sectors.
