The Yemen Gas Company (YGC) issued an urgent circular mandating the immediate movement of all gas-laden trailers currently stationed in yards or along main roads. The directive requires these tankers to reach their designated governorates and stations within a period not exceeding 12 hours, in an effort to maintain supply stability and meet citizens’ needs.
In its statement, the company clarified that any tanker failing to move its cargo and deliver it within the specified timeframe will face a 6-month suspension. This precautionary measure is intended to safeguard the public interest and prevent any disruptions in gas distribution across various regions.
The Yemen Gas Company emphasized the necessity of adhering to the distribution schedule, asserting that this action aims to avert market shortages and ensure that gas supplies reach all stations and consumers without delay.
