Saudi Relief Center Distributes 4,170 Winter Clothing Kits in Hadramawt

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to implement the “Kanaf” winter clothing distribution project in the desert regions of Wadi and Sahra in Hadramawt Governorate, through its implementing partner, the Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works.

The project involved the distribution of 4,170 winter clothing kits to the neediest families across several districts in Wadi and Sahra Hadramawt. This initiative is part of humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of residents facing the harsh cold waves that affect desert areas during the winter season.

The “Kanaf” project aims to:

  • Protect vulnerable groups, particularly children and the elderly, from the effects of sharp drops in temperature.
  • Improve living conditions and enhance humanitarian security.
  • Ease the daily burdens placed on families in need.

This intervention is part of a series of relief projects implemented by the Center in Hadramawt and various other Yemeni governorates to support affected families and bolster humanitarian response efforts in the most impoverished regions.
