Hadramawt Tribal Alliance Announces Full Support for President Al-Alimi’s Decisions and Condemns the STC’s Aggressions

Yemen Monitor – Newsroom:
Hadramawt Tribal Alliance expressed its full support for the decisions issued by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on the morning of Tuesday, December 30, 2025, which emphasized the protection of civilians and the preservation of unified military and security decision-making.
The Alliance rejected any armed movements outside the framework of the state, while affirming the legitimate leadership’s commitment to preventing bloodshed, prioritizing political solutions, and safeguarding the gains of security and stability in the eastern provinces, as well as preserving the nation’s sovereignty.
The Alliance highly commended the responsible stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as reflected in the statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in supporting the legitimacy of the Yemeni state and rejecting any escalatory steps that threaten the security of Yemen and the region.
The Alliance praised the field measures taken to halt the criminal aggressions and grave violations committed by militias affiliated with the STC from outside Hadramawt, particularly in the districts of Ghayl Bin Yamin, Al-Shihr, and the eastern regions.
It pointed to the imposition of an unjust siege and criminal assaults targeting Bedouins and peaceful residents, in blatant violation of the constitution, the law, tribal customs, and humanitarian norms.
The Alliance affirmed its full solidarity with the affected individuals, holding the STC and its supporters fully responsible for any escalation or repercussions that endanger citizens’ lives or threaten social peace and the communal fabric of Hadramawt.
It called for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all armed formations affiliated with the STC from Hadramawt and Al-Mahra, the cessation of provocative practices, respect for Hadramawt’s unique identity and the will of its people, and the empowerment of state institutions to carry out their constitutional duties.
The Alliance concluded by reiterating its steadfast support for the state and its legitimacy, aiming to uphold the rule of law, protect civilians, and build a state of equal citizenship and fair partnership in power and wealth—all of which preserve the dignity of the Hadrami people and safeguard the security and stability of Hadramawt and Yemen.
