The British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, stated on Monday that she held a “fruitful” meeting with the Yemeni Prime Minister yesterday.
Ambassador Sharif highlighted the Yemeni government’s current focus on service delivery and the maintenance of security for the benefit of the Yemeni people.
She emphasized that the shared objective remains building a more stable and prosperous future for Yemen, despite the ongoing challenges and difficult regional context.
Furthermore, the Ambassador underscored that Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity remain a fundamental priority for the United Kingdom.
