Washington Supports Any Initiatives to Reduce Tensions in Hadramowt and Al-Mahra , Affirms Its Support For The Yemeni Government

The U.S. announced its full support for any initiatives aimed at reducing tensions in Yemen’s Hadramowt and Al-Mahra governorates amid ongoing political and security developments in the country.

Acting U.S. Ambassador, Jonathan Patches, expressed his happiness about his meeting with the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, where they discussed shared concerns over recent developments in the mentioned regions.

Patches stated that Washington welcomes all efforts to de-escalate, reaffirming the U.S.s’ continued support for the Yemeni government and the Presidential Leadership Council in their efforts to enhance security and stability across Yemen.
