Yemen Condemns Israeli Aggression on Syria

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the aggression by the Israeli occupation on the town of Beit Jinn in the western Damascus countryside, which resulted in a number of civilian casualties and injuries.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that this represents a new violation of Syrian sovereignty and a breach of all international laws and covenants.
Yemen called on the international community to take serious steps to halt these practices and violations, thus guaranteeing the security, stability, and territorial integrity of the Syrian people.
An occupation army force had infiltrated the village of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside at dawn today, Friday, with the aim of carrying out arrests. However, the local residents surrounded the occupation patrol, and clashes erupted, lasting for two hours.
The occupation army intervened with aircraft and artillery to break the siege on the force. The clashes and bombardment resulted in the killing of 13 civilians and the injury of 6 occupation officers and soldiers, including two critical cases.
Yesterday, Thursday, the occupation forces targeted Tal Al-Ahmar in the Quneitra countryside with several artillery shells and renewed their incursion into the countryside of the governorate at the Umm Batna junction in the northern Quneitra countryside.
