The Governor of Al-Mahra, Mohamed Ali Yasser, emphasized the governorate’s commitment to directing public spending towards development priorities in accordance with approved government policies.
During his chairmanship of a Local Council meeting today (Thursday), he affirmed the local authority’s support for the economic reforms being implemented by the government.
The meeting discussed the 2026 Plan and Budget, reviewing the items of the new financial project within the framework of the government’s direction to boost economic reforms, improve resource management, raise institutional performance efficiency, and control spending in areas related to development and basic services.
The Local Council approved the 2026 Plan and Budget after discussing it with specialists and incorporating the observations and proposals presented by the members.
