Houthis Release 3 Detainees Held for Celebrating September Revolution in Ibb

Yemen Monitor / Exclusive:
The Houthi group has released three individuals detained in connection with celebrating the anniversary of the 26th of September Revolution, following more than two months of detention.
Educational activist Amin Al-Shafaq told “Yemen Monitor” that the Houthis in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) released three citizens yesterday who had been detained for celebrating the revolution. Two are from As-Saddah District—Suleiman Al-Khubari and Abdullah Al-Jamri—and the third is Issam Lutf from Al-Mashannah District.
Al-Shafaq explained that the Houthis continue to detain a number of other citizens accused of celebrating the revolution, including five individuals from Dhi As Sufal District and another from Yarim District.
Since last July, the Houthis have launched a widespread arrest campaign in Ibb Governorate, with dozens still forcibly disappeared in prisons under harsh conditions.
Last week, a human rights organization documented that the Houthis are enforcing the disappearance of 99 citizens in prisons—the majority of whom are educators—and demanded their immediate release.
