Shocking Documentary… Marib Lifts the Veil on the Hidden Face of Houthi Schemes

Yemen Monitor / Marib / Exclusive:

The General Directorate of Police in Marib Governorate announced the upcoming broadcast of a new documentary film, “Marib… Sleeping with One Eye Open 3,” which covers a series of high-quality security operations carried out by the governorate’s security agencies. These operations contributed to thwarting Houthi schemes that aimed to destabilize security and stability in Marib.

The security agencies stated that they succeeded in foiling a dangerous plot prepared by the Houthi Security and Intelligence apparatus, in addition to an intelligence cell linked to the enemy, which was seeking to target security and military leaders within the governorate.

The documentary about the cell and the plot is scheduled to be screened on Al-Yemen TV at 8:00 PM tomorrow, Sunday, November 16, 2025. It will include real footage and authenticated confessions shown for the first time, revealing part of the ongoing security efforts to confront the threats posed by cells affiliated with the terrorist Houthi militias.

The film includes exclusive confessions from several individuals who were arrested, including one person who revealed during the promotional clip the existence of a factory for explosive devices in the Dhahban area of Sana’a. This factory is supervised by a person named “Al-Baidani” with the participation of Iranian experts, while the field supervision is handled by Abu Idris and Al-Ghumari, who belong to the Houthi security and intelligence apparatuses.

In another confession, one of the detainees stated that the tasks entrusted to him by the militia included targeting “enemies”—as he described them—including civilians in Wadi Marib, as well as military checkpoints and Saudi vehicles, and monitoring the movements of official figures, including the Minister of Interior and Sagheer bin Aziz, the Chief of Staff.

Another individual appeared in the announcement, confessing that he was working under the supervision of a person named “Abu Yahya Al-Houthi,” noting that he was recruited by a Houthi supervisor and incited to go to Marib to carry out bombing operations, which he said he immediately agreed to before being apprehended.

The film presents these facts and confessions in a context that reveals the extent of the threats facing Marib Governorate and the significant role played by the security agencies in thwarting Houthi plots and preserving the security and stability of the governorate.
