Prominent Houthi Leader Killed, Soldier Injured in Clashes West of Taiz

The western areas of Taiz city witnessed intense military confrontations between government forces and Houthi militias last night, resulting in casualties on both sides.
Field sources confirmed the killing of a prominent Houthi leader known as Abu Ali Al-Raimi, who was overseeing the militia’s operations in the Shar’ab junction and Al-Sitteen areas.
On the other hand, a soldier from the National Army was injured during the clashes, the detailed circumstances of which are not fully clear yet.
These developments come as part of the ongoing military escalation between the legitimate forces and the Houthi militias around the southern city of Taiz.
Abu Ali Al-Raimi is considered one of the important figures in the Houthi organization, having played a central role in coordinating the militia’s military operations in that region.
