Yemen Monitor/Taiz:
A presidential committee today, Wednesday, handed over a number of public and private facilities that had remained under the control of army forces in Taiz city since its liberation from the Houthis.
The head of the Presidential Committee concerned with handing over government and private buildings, Brigadier General Abdo Salem Farhan, Advisor to the Commander of the Taiz Military Axis, handed over:
- Usayfira Power Station
- Al-Qahirah District Administration Building
- Al-Qahirah Police Station Building
- Education Office Building in Al-Ta’iziyah District
- General Authority for Rural Water Projects Building
- Eight private buildings belonging to the agriculture sector.
The head of the committee stated that the achievement in handing over buildings has reached about 85% of the houses and over 90% of the government facilities, confirming the continuation of efforts to complete the remaining facilities and buildings.
