Large Quantities of Shabu and Narcotic Pills Seized in Hadhramaut Amid Intensive Security Campaign

This morning, Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madhi, Governor of Hadhramaut and Chairman of the Security Committee in the governorate, conducted a field visit to the Drug Control Administration of the Security and Police in the Hadhramaut Coast. He reviewed the workflow and inspected various departments.
Bin Madhi met with the leadership and personnel of the Administration, where he listened to a detailed report on the qualitative security operations carried out by the Administration in recent days. These operations succeeded in crippling the activity of a dangerous gang specialized in promoting the narcotic substance Shabu (crystal meth).
The report revealed the seizure of large quantities of narcotics, which included 4 kilograms and 200 grams of hashish, in addition to 170 grams of Shabu, found during the inspection of a car belonging to one of the gang members.
The Governor stressed the need to intensify efforts to pursue elements of organized crime, affirming his full support for the anti-drug personnel. He directed that construction work be quickly completed in some of the Administration’s offices to improve the working environment.
Bin Madhi praised the high professional standard demonstrated by the Administration’s personnel, considering the apprehension of this gang a strong blow to smuggling networks, especially after discovering their specific targeting of women and girls.
He affirmed that Hadhramaut will not be lenient with any attempts to destabilize its community security, calling for the continuation of security campaigns to protect youth from the danger of this destructive scourge.
