Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahmed Ghaleb, issued a new decision on Wednesday to suspend the license of Tabuk Exchange Company and order the closure of its premises.
The decision stated that the action was taken following the company’s violation, as confirmed by a field inspection report submitted by the Banking Supervision Sector.
This move comes as part of a series of decisions affecting around 52 exchange companies and institutions, within the Central Bank’s ongoing efforts to reform the financial sector and combat illegal activities.
