Yemen Petroleum Company in Aden Lowers Fuel Prices as Exchange Rate Improves

The Yemen Petroleum Company in Aden has decided to lower fuel prices starting this evening, Friday, in line with the directives of the company’s general administration.

The decision stipulates a reduction of one thousand riyals per liter of fuel, which is equivalent to 20,000 riyals for a 20-liter container.

Informed sources within the company confirmed that there are intentions for further price reductions if the exchange rates continue to improve in the coming days.

The sources also noted that Saleh Al-Jariri, the general manager of the Yemen Petroleum Company in Aden, is making concerted efforts to supply the local market with fuel at appropriate prices by communicating with the relevant government authorities to expedite the decision to reduce the price of petroleum derivatives.
