Leaders and Sheikhs of Ramah and Thamud Affirm Support for Army Movements in Hadhramaut

Local authorities, tribal sheikhs, and prominent figures from the districts of Ramah and Thamud in Hadhramaut Governorate affirmed their full support for the national army’s movements aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region and confronting any security threats.
This came during meetings held on Wednesday between Major General Saleh Mohammed Al-Juimalani, Commander of the First Military Region and Commander of the 37th Armored Brigade, and leaders from the local authorities and tribal sheikhs. The meetings were part of ongoing coordination efforts to address current security challenges.
Major General Al-Juimalani explained that these movements are taking place under directives from the country’s top political and military leadership. He stressed that the army and the people of the two districts form a united front against the Houthi militia and other subversive elements.
He also pointed out that the operational plans are being directly coordinated with the leadership of the Second Military Region and the Al-Ghaydah Axis, to ensure integrated security and military efforts across border areas.
For their part, the sheikhs and local leaders of Ramah and Thamud reiterated their rejection of any presence of Houthi groups or outlawed elements, affirming their support for state institutions in protecting security and social peace in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahrah.
