Yemeni Ministry of Defense Announces Opening of Admissions to the Military Academy in Aden

The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff Headquarters announced the opening of registration for the 53rd batch at the Military Academy in Aden, with the application period running from May 3 to May 14.

The Ministry clarified that registration is open to high school graduates from both civilian and military backgrounds through the following online link:

The Ministry set the following conditions for applicants:

  • Must be of Yemeni nationality and born to Yemeni parents.
  • To have obtained a high school diploma with a minimum grade of 70% for the science section and 75% for the art section.
  • Must not be older than 22 years of age.
  • Must be physically and medically fit and successfully pass medical examinations and entrance tests.
  • Must be at least 170 cm tall.
  • Must be of good conduct and not have been convicted of any offense affecting honor or integrity.
  • Must not be affiliated with any political party or organization.
  • Must commit to the rules and internal regulations of the Military Academy.
  • Must not have been dismissed from any military college or the armed forces for reasons related to dishonor or misconduct.
  • Must submit a file including the high school certificate, original and copy of the electronic ID card, four recent colored personal photos (4×6 cm) with a white background and clear facial features (no enhancements).

If the applicant is from a military unit, a letter of approval from their unit commander must be attached to the file.

The Ministry urged those wishing to enroll to adhere strictly to the listed requirements, emphasizing that this initiative aims to strengthen defense capabilities and prepare qualified military personnel to serve the nation.
