Israeli Occupation Announces Interception of Second Missile Launched from Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
Israeli army radio reported that air defenses intercepted a second missile launched from Yemen on Friday, while the Houthis announced they had targeted a military base east of occupied Haifa.
The Israeli Home Front Command reported that air raid sirens were activated in dozens of locations in northern Israel, including Haifa, its bay area, and the Golan Heights.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation army announced it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen before it entered Israeli airspace. Israeli Channel 12 reported that the missile was intercepted over Jordan.
The Israeli Home Front Command had earlier announced that the northern region had been targeted by a missile launched from Yemen, adding that sirens had sounded in around 250 cities, towns, and industrial areas in northern Israel, including Haifa, Nazareth, Afula, and Wadi Ara.
Israeli army radio said that 25 ballistic missiles have been launched from Yemen toward Israel since the resumption of the war on Gaza on March 18.
Earlier today, the Houthi military spokesperson announced the targeting of the Ramat David base east of Haifa and claimed that Israel failed to intercept the missile.
On March 15, the US resumed its attacks on Yemen following orders from President Donald Trump to launch a “major offensive” against the Houthi group, before threatening to “completely eliminate” them.
However, the Houthis ignored Trump’s threats and resumed attacks on sites inside “Israel” and on ships in the Red Sea bound for it, saying it was in response to the resumed genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza.
