UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said on Monday that UN Secretary-General António Guterres is deeply concerned by reports of strikes on a detention center for African migrants in Yemen.
He stated, “Airstrikes pose a growing danger to civilians in Yemen. We continue to call on all parties to fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian law, including the protection of civilians.”
The Houthis said on Monday that the raids on a detention facility in Saada Governorate resulted in the death of 68 people and the injury of more than 40 others.
