Three Girls Injured in Houthi Shelling of a Residential Neighborhood in Taiz

Yemen Monitor/Taiz/Special:
Three girls were injured today, Saturday, by shrapnel from a shell fired by the Houthis near their home in the Al-Muliha’a neighborhood, Sabir Al-Mawadim district in Taiz city, southwestern Yemen.
The girls are: “Malak Abdel-Alim, Buthaina Abdel-Alim, and Malak Abdel-Bari.”
The incident occurred at exactly five o’clock in the afternoon, when the shell caused varying degrees of injuries to the girls.
This attack comes at a time when the number of civilian casualties is increasing in Taiz, where residents are subjected to indiscriminate shelling by the Houthis, in addition to the dangers of sniping and landmine planting that claim the lives of many innocent people, including children and women.
The suffering of civilians in the city continues to increase as a result of the ongoing escalation by the Houthi group in various areas, at a time when the Iranian-backed armed group claims to support and stand with Gaza against the war of extermination committed by the Israeli occupation.
