Al Arabiya and Al Hadath Correspondent Killed in Explosion Targeting His Vehicle in Eastern Yemen

Journalist Mohammed Aydhah, a correspondent for Al Arabiya and Al Hadath television channels, was killed on Wednesday evening after an explosive device targeted his vehicle in the city of Mukalla, in Yemen’s eastern governorate of Hadramawt, according to local sources.

The sources said that the explosion occurred near Sixty Street in Mukalla, leaving Mohammed Aydhah critically injured. He later succumbed to his wounds.

Security authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the circumstances of the incident. Meanwhile, the relevant agencies are continuing investigations to uncover the details of the attack and identify those responsible.
