Yemenia Airways Opens Booking for Flights from Al Ghaydah Airport and Announces Upcoming Flight to Socotra

Yemenia Airways announced on Saturday the continuation of its weekly flights from Al Ghaydah International Airport in Al Mahrah Governorate, eastern Yemen, following the provision of aircraft fuel by the Yemen Oil Company – Al Mahrah Branch.
The management of Yemenia Airways’ Al Ghaydah region stated in a press release that the resumption of regular flights came as part of the efforts and follow-ups by the Governor of Al Mahrah, Mohammed Ali Yasser, to ensure the continuity of air traffic and facilitate the movement of citizens to and from the governorate.
The statement added that the continuation of flight operations also comes under the directives of the company’s leadership, represented by the Chairman of the Board, Nasser Mahmoud, and the Deputy General Manager for Commercial Affairs, Abdullah Saleh, contributing to enhancing air transport services in the governorate.
The Director of the Al Ghaydah region, Tamim Abdullah, praised the efforts of the local authority in securing aircraft fuel supply, commending the role of the Yemen Oil Company – Al Mahrah Branch and the management of Al Ghaydah International Airport in overcoming technical and operational difficulties to ensure flight continuity.
He indicated that a flight to the Socotra Archipelago via Al Ghaydah International Airport is scheduled for next Sunday, confirming that scheduled flights are open in the booking system and that reservations are available through the company’s authorized offices and agents.
