Yemen Condemns Bombing Near Syrian Defense Ministry Building in Damascus

The Republic of Yemen has strongly condemned a bombing that targeted the vicinity of a Ministry of Defense building in the Syrian capital of Damascus, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries.

In an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Yemen expressed its deep denunciation of the attack. The government reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic, stating that it stands firmly alongside the Syrian government and its people in confronting all terrorist and criminal acts that threaten the country’s security, stability, territorial integrity, and citizens.

Furthermore, the Ministry reiterated Yemen’s unwavering stance supporting the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Syria. The statement emphasized Yemen’s absolute rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, noting that such acts directly contradict human values and international law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates extended its most sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Syria, as well as to the families of the victims, while wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured in the explosion.
