Yemeni President: The State is Proceeding with the Pursuit of Sabotage Cells and the Consolidation of Stability

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, affirmed that the state is proceeding with the pursuit of sabotage cells and bringing their members to justice to receive their deterrent punishment—foremost among them those involved in the assassination of businessman Abdulrahman al-Shaer—noting that such crimes are not subject to a statute of limitations.
During a meeting today in Riyadh with the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Mohsen Yahya Taleb, and heads of judicial bodies—including the President of the Supreme Court, Judge Dr. Ali al-Awash; the Minister of Justice, Judge Badr al-Ardah; and the Attorney General, Qaher Mustafa—he stressed that the judiciary is the most important tool for deterring terrorism and ending schemes aimed at destabilizing security.
Al-Alimi explained that the unification of security and military decision-making is primarily aimed at enabling the judicial authority to perform its duties and protect society from terrorism and corruption. He pointed out that the integration of the relationship between law enforcement authorities is the only way to consolidate the prestige of the state and achieve swift justice in the liberated governorates.
The Head of the Leadership Council also praised the recent successes of the security services in dismantling terrorist cells, considering that the independence and integrity of the judiciary represent the fundamental guarantee for the sustainability of institutional reforms.
Additionally, al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and to the brotherly Saudi people on the qualitative achievements made under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which was launched ten years ago around this time.
His Excellency emphasized that these successes have not only reflected on Saudi Arabia internally but that their positive effects have extended to Yemen and the entire region across all levels.
