Ministry of Health Discusses Arrangements for the Health Donors’ Conference with the British Side

The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaibeh, discussed today in Aden the technical arrangements and preparations for holding the Health Donors’ Conference, in a meeting with a delegation from the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

The meeting, attended by the deputy minister and several senior officials, also addressed joint efforts to strengthen the preparedness of the health sector. Participants focused on formulating a package of urgent priorities to be presented during the conference, with the aim of mobilizing the necessary funding to reinforce the health system and improve services provided to citizens.

The Minister emphasized the importance of partnership with the British side and the supportive role of the FCDO, noting that the conference represents a vital opportunity to present Yemen’s health needs systematically to international partners.
