Presidential Committee Continues Handing Over Private and Public Properties in Taiz

The Presidential Committee tasked with handing over buildings delivered a government building and a residential building in the city of Taiz (central Yemen) on Saturday.

Brigadier General Abdu Salem, the military axis advisor and head of the Presidential Committee for Handing Over Buildings in Taiz, stated that the committee handed over the building of the Planning and International Cooperation Office to the office director, Nabil Jamil. Additionally, it handed over a private building.

He added that the committee continues its work in returning private buildings to their owners or their authorized representatives, while the relevant authorities are taking over public offices and facilities.

In turn, the director of the Planning Office in Taiz province praised the efforts of the Presidential Committee in handing over public and private properties and preserving them throughout the previous period. He noted that the area witnessed confrontations with the Houthis, that Taiz was liberated through the sacrifices of heroes, and that today it is recovering and progressing for the better every day.

Last week, the Presidential Committee handed over the Osseifra Power Station and a number of public and private buildings, announcing that it had completed 90% of the handover of public buildings and 85% of private buildings, and that it is continuing its work.
