Wounded Researcher Earns Master’s Degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Saba Region

The wounded researcher Muhammad Rajih Jaadan, Secretary-General of the Wounded Association, earned a master’s degree in Pure Mathematics, specializing in Topology, from the College of Education and Sciences at the University of Saba Region. His thesis was titled “The Property of Semi-Openness in Ideal Topological Spaces.”

This is Jaadan’s second master’s degree, following his first in Political Science. His achievement demonstrates his determination to continue his academic journey despite his injury.

The thesis defense committee included:

  • Yahya Qaid Hassan Al-Barihi – Professor of Mathematics at the University of Saba Region – Chairman and Scientific Supervisor
  • Sadiq Ali Saad Al-Salwi – University of Saba Region – Internal Examiner
  • Bassam Abdel Qader Ali Al-Hamza – Al-Mahra University – External Examiner

In his thesis, Jaadan explored a specialized topic in topology, focusing on the property of semi-openness in ideal topological spaces. This is an advanced subject that forms an important theoretical basis for contemporary mathematical applications.

The committee praised Jaadan’s high-level scientific efforts and determination in completing his thesis despite his disability, considering his work a shining example of struggle and academic and intellectual achievement.

The defense session was attended by Parliament Member Mansour Al-Hanq, the Vice Presidents of the University of Saba Region Hussein Al-Mousai and Ali Al-Rimal, several faculty members, the student’s colleagues, and a group of people interested in academic and research affairs.
