Massive Fire Due to Tankers Collision in Al-Mahra

A massive fire broke out on Tuesday following a collision of tankers on the Haswain–Nishtun road in Al-Mahra governorate, eastern Yemen, leading to the complete burning of the vehicles amid reports of casualties.

Eyewitnesses said the fire resulted in the death of one of the drivers, a Pakistani national, while the full toll of human and material losses has not yet been determined.

Al-Mahra governorate, which borders Oman, has witnessed recurring horrific traffic accidents that have claimed the lives of many citizens and travelers, amid poor infrastructure and congested roads with heavy truck and tanker traffic.
